The terms that apply when you use this website or send an enquiry through it, under the law of England and Wales.
This site is built for lead-generation purposes. We are not the business that carries out the work; another company will contact you about your enquiry. These terms cover your use of this website and the enquiry you send through it. They do not cover the work itself, which is a separate agreement between you and whoever carries it out.
This website describes drainage, plumbing and heating work, and gives you a way to describe a job and have it answered. When you send an enquiry it is passed to the company that would carry out that work, together with the details you gave us, so that they can price it and contact you. That is the whole of what happens, and it is the reason there is no charge to you for using it.
The pages describing the work, including everything under plumbing and drainage services, are written to explain what a job involves. They are general explanations of the trade rather than a specification for your property, and nothing on them is an offer capable of acceptance. The sequence a job goes through, from enquiry to written price, is set out in how we work.
Sending an enquiry costs nothing and commits you to nothing. There is no obligation on either side until you accept a written price, and no price given before a job has been seen is binding: a figure offered on the strength of a description is an indication, and the written quote that follows an inspection is the price.
A written quote states what is included. Where something cannot be established without opening up, lifting a floor or running a camera, the quote says so and says what would change if it turns out otherwise. A quote remains open for thirty days unless it says otherwise on its face.
If you go ahead, your agreement for the work is with the company that carries it out, on their terms, and they are responsible for it. That includes the price, the programme, the workmanship, any guarantee offered, their registrations and their insurance. We are not a party to that agreement and do not perform the work.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, nor any right you have against the company performing the work.
The details you send through the enquiry form are used to answer your enquiry and are passed to the company that would carry out the work. What is collected, why, who receives it and how long it is kept is set out in full in our privacy policy, which is linked in the footer of every page, and by sending the form you are agreeing to that passing on. You can ask us to delete what we hold at any time.
The explanations here are written carefully and kept current, but regulations, standards and product ranges change, and a page is not a substitute for somebody looking at your property. Where a page describes a legal duty, such as a landlord gas safety record, treat it as a starting point and confirm the current position before relying on it.
Some pages link to third-party websites. Those are not under our control and we are not responsible for their content.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If any part of them is unenforceable, the rest stands.
We may update these terms, and the version on this page is the one that applies. If you want to raise something about them, contact us and say which part it is about.
